Iain Grant

Iain is a Specialist in the Development and Change of Organisations and their Cultures. He has worked for 20 years as a consultant, supporting Organisation Learning in its broadest sense. Iain is currently very interested in how organizations retain the knowledge, skills and expertise that reside in the workforce, and how this applies to Safety Practice. He is a strong believer in the essentially social nature of learning and how sensemaking takes place. He supports this model of situated learning by developing Communities of Practice with clients. In recent years, Iain has been instrumental in Continuous Improvement initiatives in Pharmaceuticals, Automotive engineering, Injection blow moulding, high volume printing and many more industries. This experience has seen Iain delivering projects not only in the UK, but also in USA, Italy, Ireland and France.
