BTEC Intermediate Award in Mindfulness and Safe Working in a High Reliability Organisation (Level 2)
The aim of this course is the development of front-line staff working in high risk industry to better anticipate and prevent small discrepancies and adverse events, particularly those that may be precursors of more serious and catastrophic incidence.
Level 2 introduces the concept of HRO thinking, the role of organizational mindfulness in everyday processes and actions, and the important role organizational mindfulness plays in high risk industry. Participants will learn to recognise the concepts of mindfulness, and the contributions these can make to personnel safety and asset integrity.
Level 2 can be completed either as a stand-alone course providing a broad foundation to the working characteristics of an HRO, or as an introductory course to the five course units that make up the level 3 qualification.
